Pastor S.L Fordharm

Pastor Shawn LaMar Fordham, is the son of the late Elder Henry J Fordham, III, and Sharon Elaine Wright Fordham and a product of an Adventist Christian education.

Pastor Fordham is a graduate of Pine Forge Academy, Washington Adventist University and received his undergraduate degree in Organizational management and a Masters' degree in Public Administration. He then attended Andrews University and earned a Masters' degree in Pastor Ministry from the Theological Seminary. He has served as the President of the National Pine Forge Alumni Association and President of the Washington University Alumni as well. He also served on the Board of Washington Adventist University. He is currently completing his Juris Doctorate at Delaware Law in Wilmington, Delaware.

Most of his career he has been in Public Service and Politics, Serving as the Senior Advisor and Deputy Secretary of External Affairs for Mayor John F. Street and his Campaign Manager. Soon after, he was appointed to serve on the Board of Directors, for the Philadelphia Regional Development Authority. He has also worked as a Government Relations Consultant, and manager and Communications Director for the Federal Government.

But he is now in a higher calling, serving as the Pastor of the East Lansdowne SDA Church and Mizpah Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Working in collaboration with other area churches and pastors in evangelistic efforts he has baptized numerous souls that continue to uplift the church and bring others to Christ.

The highlight of his evangelist efforts remains his first crusade in which his father Elder Henry J. Fordham III, was his speaker for which 18 people were baptized into the church.

He has one child currently attending Hampton University.
